Conferência Internacional do Teatro do Oprimido

De 20 até 26 de Julho, acontece no Rio de Janeiro, a 1ª Conferência Internacional do Teatro do Oprimido. Entre as participações confirmadas estão ativistas dos EUA, França, Holanda, Moçambique, Guiné-Bissau, Inglaterra, Alemanha, Israel, Índia e Brasil.
O evento é um tributo a Augusto Boal e sua obra e tem como objetivo ser um marco histórico para a continuidade ao seu trabalho e o desenvolvimento de seu Método. A Conferência acontece no Conjunto Cultural da Caixa (Teatro Nelson Rodrigues e Teatro de Arena) e na sede do Centro de Teatro do Oprimido.
A programação relacionada à Conferência será totalmente gratuita e aberta ao grande público, mediante inscrição. Os interessados em se inscrever para a Conferência devem preencher e enviar a ficha de inscrição para helensarapeck@ctorio.org.br e/ou geobritto@ctorio.org.br até 20 de Junho de 2009.
Dentro da programação da Conferência, nos dias 24, 25 e 26 de julho, acontece o Encontro Internacional de Praticantes do Teatro do Oprimido, na sede do Centro de Teatro do Oprimido.
Programação
20/07 – Cerimônia de abertura com coquetel de lançamento da sexta edição da revista Metaxis, a publicação do Centro de Teatro do Oprimido, instituição da qual Augusto Boal foi o diretor artístico desde 1986;
21 a 23/07 – Painéis de discussão sobre o impacto da aplicação do Teatro do Oprimido em diversas regiões do mundo e em diferentes áreas temáticas;
20 a 23/07 – Mostra Internacional de vídeos;
21 a 25/07 – Espetáculos de Teatro-Fórum com sessões de Teatro Legislativo;
21 a 26/07 – Exposição de produções da Estética do Oprimido.
